• Elara, Will, Paradox and Drakor continued exploring the nightmare corridors of the contaminated church saving innocent victims and destroying foul abominations. --
• Once the heroes reached the ground floor they found the paladin Lady Constance protecting a group of teachers and children from the depredations of animated stone gargoyles and fallen angels made of stained glass.
• The party spread out searching the ground level and found many strange and disturbing scenes. Outside in the dark gardens of the cursed temple there was a small graveyard with two skeletal ravens upon a tombstone who gave the PCs a riddle that led them to find a vial of magical acid in the mouth of a stone fish. Taking their odd prize they descended the stairs into the darkness of the crypts below the church.
• The PCs found the black halls of the crypts haunted by the walking corpse of Brother Seth with an empty reliquary embedded in it's chest. The destroyed the twisted thing and ripped the reliquary from its body and placed it on the shelves of the main crypt. There they found the shadowy spirit of Samson Windler, the old inventor of the Windler boots of jumping. They released his trapped spirit who disappeared to return with his corpse buried in the garden of his home on the small river island.
• A final search of the dark corridor uncovered the final lair of Tobias of Ragged Hollow. The foolish lad had been twisted by an demonic substance known as the Dolorous Ichor that bubbled up from the underworld and infected him while he was tomb robbing around the abandoned dwarven settlement on Mount Mourn. The Dolorous Ichor has one goal: escape from the Church and spread its murdering nightmares. This would only be possible if the Golden Veil summoned by Lady Constance dropped and was no longer containing the evil within.
• Using teamwork and the vial of acid, the heroes destroyed the Tobias-thing and the ichor and saved the Church, the children and the entire village of Ragged Hollow.
• Afterwards, the villagers made a three-day festival of celebration where everyone ate, drank and danced and celebrated the Saviors of Ragged Hollow. Will's mother is so proud.
• All PCs are now 4th level. New character sheets coming soon.
• Note on magical loot:
  • Due to the power drain needed to keep the Golden Veil extant, the following items are no longer functioning.
    • Windler Boots
    • Orla's Chain and Scarf
  • Magical items found and still functional after the fall of the Golden Veil.
    • Will's True-Silver Bastard Sword - +1, +2 vs. Undead/Fiends/Lycanthrope
    • Elara's Staff of Light - This wooden staff with bronze end-caps has three charges, which it regains each day at dawn. Burn one charge to create 30 feet of torchlight for 1 minute, which causes magic objects and effects within its radius to glow. Burn three charges to create 60 feet of sunlight for 1 minute, which causes invisible creatures within its radius to glow.
